Romance at Ramada is our theme, and our amenities, as well as our attitude, reflect this sentiment. At Ramada Galena, we offer a variety of venues in which to hold your wedding ceremony and reception, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, or bachelorette party. We can accommodate events ranging from the very casual to the very formal, for groups as small as five or as large as three hundred.

Our perennial gardens, expansive lawn, and scenic lake offer a classic country setting that is perfect for your wedding ceremony. The wrap-around Lakeview Terrace is ideal for a rehearsal dinner or a wine and passed hors d‘oeuvre reception, prior to an elegant dinner in the Meadowview Ballroom for up to 300.

The Ramada Galena houses 72 rooms, including suites with garden and lakeside views. Each room is elegantly decorated with one-of-a-kind antiques and furnishings. Located just five minutes from Galena’s historic Main Street district, and 12 short minutes from the Port of Dubuque, our distinctive hotel offers a “bed and breakfast” feel with the benefits of a medium sized hotel.

The Ramada provides the perfect backdrop for planning signature elements of your wedding.

Ramada provides on-site check-in with your vendors, beverage service, as well as overseeing the wedding day program. Our goal is to provide a concierge experience during the planning process up to and including your wedding day. Our experienced staff can explore the wide variety of options with you for your wedding day.

Indulge Day Spa & Salon is the perfect oasis, located inside the Ramada Galena. Enjoy Wedding Bliss, Indulge’s special wedding package. The spa staff can facilitate your wedding needs such as hair, make-up, and massages. All registered wedding guests receive a 10% discount on all services and products at Indulge.

For the convenience of your wedding guests, we can also offer a “room block” for specific days, with special rates on specific numbers of rooms. This guarantees your guests will be able to stay in the hotel the night of your wedding and any necessary days prior. Your guests then call in, mention your wedding party, and make their individual reservations at a special rate.
